Lowe's Recalls Millions of Window Blinds and Roman Shades

On Wednesday Lowe's announced its the latest company initiating a major window blinds and Roman shades recall. The blinds and shades are being recalled due to choking and strangulation dangers.
Lowe's recall includes ALL styles and sizes of roll-up blinds and Roman shades sold at Lowe's from 1999 to June of this year. This major window covering recall includes over 6 million Roman shades and 5 million roll-up blinds.
The blinds are being recalled based on reports of serious injuries to children including a 2-year old found with a cord wrapped around his neck and arm in 2009 and this year a 4-year old who suffered a rope burn on his neck from the dangerous cords.
Lowe's is just the most recent company to recall dangerous and defective window coverings, roll-up blinds and Roman shades. Our
