Jackson Allen Williams Evaluating Orajel Claims

Following FDA safety communications regarding the use of benzocaine-containing products, including Orajel and Baby Orajel, the pharmaceutical lawyers at Jackson Allen Williams, LLP are evaluating cases on behalf of those injured or killed after using these drugs.

The FDA's April warning stated that use of Orajel in children under two years old could cause a condition known as methemoglobinemia. This condition, because it causes the levels of oxygen in one's blood stream to dip to dangerously low levels, can cause serious injury and even death. This condition can develop within minutes or hours of use. If your child has pale, gray or blue colored skin, lips or nail beds, take them to get medical attention immediately!

If you or your child developed methemoglobinemia after using Orajel, Baby Orajel or another benzocaine product, contact one of our lawyers today for a free case evaluation. Our lawyers are investigating claims for children and their families who used Orajel or similar products and was seriously injured or died from methemoglobinemia.
